Rattle Battle is an in-depth, side-by-side comparison of four distinctive Eurorack hi-hat modules—Archer’s Rig, Clutch, Metalloid, and Noise Plethora. Focusing on sonic character, modulation depth, metallic texture, noise generation, and real-world patching workflows, this shootout highlights how each module handles closed and open hi-hats and sculpting of metallic percussive timbres. Whether you’re building a hard-hitting techno drum voice, experimenting with noise-based percussion, or searching for the perfect hi-hat module to cut through a dense modular mix, this comparison is tailored to producers who demand hands-on hardware control, gritty sound design, and uncompromising modular performance.
